We have now mixed our Astrofibre into our Round Pen Fibresand. We are delighted. We rotavated it in, and it HAS been rained on aplenty. Interestingly, when we had rotavated the surface looked much less green and more sand coloured. After the rain the sand evidently washed through and the surface was more green … I’m guessing that is normal. Then, as we worked on it is apparently mixed back in. Either way, the surface is lovely to work the horses on. They very much stay on the top of it.

You have been highly recommended by Helen who has had 3 arenas built by you. I have just been and viewed her arena and think it’s fantastic.

First lesson underway now with great feedback and riding fab. Your fibre has made such an immediate difference considering there was poor quality fibre in there already, which may be of interest to people in a similar position. It looks 100% better… the overall difference is amazing.

Absolutely fantastic fibre. Easy to handle, recycled but most importantly clean and free of any unpleasant additions. 100% well shredded fibre. The transformation is extraordinary from an arena that would look like a lake every time there was a bit of rain we now have a surface that tolerated days of rain immediately after it was put in with no problem. I cannot praise Chris and his team highly enough for their competence, attention to detail, hard work and, most importantly, managing to achieve the transformation just before Christmas with the minimum of disruption to the fields, yard and my life! I have no hesitation in recommending others put their trust in Chris as what he says he is going to do he does.

Thank you for making such a superb job of my arena. I’m thrilled to bits with it and can’t quite believe it’s finished. 🙂 We worked Tinks in the arena this morning for about ten minutes. Firstly there was no dust, secondly I could see how well it absorbs the weight of the horse; it’s like riding on a mattress. It was lovely to meet you all, so polite and professional at all times.

I would highly recommend the services of Beta-Ride having recently had my outdoor arena comprised of dredged Padstow sea sand and rubber refurbished by Chris and his team.
The fibre recommended by Chris has greatly improved the surface of my arena which had started to compact. The surface now provides a more secure footing for my horses and has a cushioned feel to it which is lovely to ride on.
From the outset I found Chris to be very helpful, knowledgeable and both he and his team conscientious when undertaking the refurbishment work.

We had our school built in 2019 and unfortunately the surface was not good, we had problems with it being inconsistent to ride on, deep in places, drying out, and moving under the horses feet. After a bit of research I contacted Chris @ Beta-ride 🙂 Chris and his team came and sorted our surface back in June and it is fantastic, it is now riding very well and the horses are enjoying, I am so glad I contacted them and would recommend them for anyone who is considering putting an arena in, have problems with a surface or wanting to update an old surface, they were reliable and honest. Our arena surface and lunge pen have been truly amazing during this wet weather. We are still very happy with the surface, so much so we are just about to put in another lunge pen.

Thank you so much for working on our school surface recently! It looks great, also for all the advice and knowledge about maintaining it with the new leveller. You certainly provide a cost effective and friendly service, would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to refresh an old surface like we did, or get a whole new one.
